Professor Mike Danson, Chair of Basic Income Network Scotland;

Jonny Douglas, co-founder of UBI Lab Network

After short 10 minute presentations, there will be plenty of time for you to ask the panellists your questions.

UBI is being considered in many countries these days. Even the UK Government has wondered about UBI! After all, in this day and age should we be scrabbling for a very insecure income? Why is it that we seem to live on a knife edge of insecurity? Businesses too. We don’t need that. Not today.

8.4 million of us in the UK are experiencing food insecurity - UNICEF has felt it needed to step in to help us! Join us and let’s start getting what we need: UBI!

After the presentations, there will be plenty of time for you to ask the panellists your questions!

Here is a blog by Common Weal group member John Rogers that was the catalyst for the event https://sourcenews.scot/john-rogers-ubis-time-is-now/
